BOAT RULES AND POLICIES

To ensure a safe and comfortable trip, please review ALL rules and policies with anyone boarding.

1. Our vessel is only permitted to carry a maximum of 6 paying customers at one time, unless otherwise noted in the trip description.


2. Your fare does not include a tip for the mate. It is customary to tip the mate 15-20% for their hard work. Capt. Phil or Stew may double as Captain and Mate at times.


3. We provide all bait and tackle. Feel free to bring your own equipment if you like.


4. The Captain reserves the right to cancel or cut short the trip at any time if he feels it is necessary due to weather or any other unsafe situation.


5. Children are always welcome, but please notify us prior to the trip so we can make sure we have the proper safety equipment and can plan accordingly.


6. We will keep your catch fresh during the trip and will offer to fillet your catch when we return back to the dock, make sure you have a way to keep it cold for the ride home.


7. Deposits: we require a 25% deposit to book your trip.


8. Cancellation policy: Your deposit will be refunded at the Captain's discretion. As long as you make an effort to cancel your trip within a reasonable time frame (1 week in advance minimum), your money will be refunded. If the trip is cancelled by the Captain because of weather, etc. you will receive a full refund or a chance to reschedule your trip.


9. We respect our resources. We only keep what we eat and dispose of trash properly.


10. Sneakers or boat shoes are a must (no black soled shoes).


11. Drinking is permitted as long as the passengers do not become intoxicated. No glass bottles, cans only.

12. No illegal substances will be permitted on board or tolerated. No exceptions.

 

13. It is the responsibility of the person scheduling the trip to ensure that all passengers read and understand the policies page.
